Vancouver Whitecaps - Joining the league for the 2011 season the Whitecaps join Seattle Sounders FC and the Portland Timbers in the Pacific Northwest forming a hotly contest series of “derby-like” Cascadia Cup matches. Like their neighbors, the club boasts a rich soccer heritage dating back to the North American Soccer League of the 1970’s.
